What made you get into Mountain bikes?  I won the World Championships at Brighton in 1996, then a couple of weeks later, Kona offered me my first salary contract to race mountain bikes. At the time riders like Mike King, Brian Lopes, Eric Carter and Dave Cullinan were dominating downhill and dual slalom. They had come from BMX and all the mountain bike companies were looking for BMX riders to sponsor. This deal was better than anything I had ever got in BMX. So after winning my 2nd World Championship, I took the gamble and switched sports, committing 100% to Mountain biking. Check out the full Interview Here

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A PART OF THE FOX FAMILY:

Amazing really. My heroes whilst growing up were all MX riders in Fox kit. Naturally I wanted to be like them one day. In the late 80's it was Rick Johnson and more recently it is Ricky Carmichael. My career path ultimately led me into Mountain Bikes, not MX, but it feels like a real honour to be sponsored by Fox. Fox kit always looks the best and now I get to wear it!! Stoked!!
